I'm planning to use this metta (loving kindness) meditation for my daily routine while K is gone. When he gets back I'll reintegrate vipassana. I haven't stopped using yoga as a meditational tool. That's my constant, and I believe everyone deserves a little bit of familiarity.
May *** be free from inner and outer harm.
May *** be safe and protected.
May *** be free of mental distress and suffering.
May *** be happy.
May *** be free of physical pain and suffering.
May *** be healthy and strong.
May *** live in this world happily, peacefully, joyfully, with ease.
Today I focused on people that I already have loving feelings towards. That's the easy part I suppose. Tomorrow I think I'll spice it up with someone evoking more difficult feelings. Should be an interesting couple of months.
